What if I told you that full-time freedom is within reach? It’s true. And I should know. Just a few years ago, I was working upwards of 50-hour weeks in my local restaurant. “I’ll quit in six months.” That’s why I kept telling myself. But after six months I was still there.

Then something changed. I asked myself “what do I actually need? This simple question changed my outlook completely. I realized that I could work for myself and still cover my expenses. So that’s what I did. From door-to-door selling to network marketing and call centers, I tried it all. But, at the end of the day, I fell victim to lack of focus.

Even so, I kept going. After all, I had upwards of 50k in student loan debt to pay off. But what if I told you, I’ve now paid it off entirely. Something that used to feel impossible was, in fact, achievable. And let me tell you, it felt amazing.

So, how did I do it? I started using ClickFunnels. I found a working model that I enjoyed and committed to it. I loved making commissions each month. So I made a new goal. Get 100 referrals each month. I made my first four figure week.

So, I decided to go all in.

I launched my free online course, started promoting the OFA challenge, and made six figures very quickly. The key to my success? Discomfort. I’ll let you into an important secret. Entrepreneurship is uncomfortable. But it’s when we embrace that discomfort that we reap the rewards.

Today I want to help you embrace the challenge so that you can feel amazing and achieve the full-time freedom you deserve.

I’ll walk you through the same 12 steps that helped me build my successful online business.

Are you ready to learn my step-by-step process for getting your business off the ground? Ready for the real-life tips and insights other people just don’t want to teach you?

It’s time to go from zero to six-figures.

But first. What exactly is fulltime freedom?

What is fulltime freedom?

Fulltime freedom means being the director of your own life. It means not having to abide by a boss, a schedule, or a routine that doesn’t bring you fulfillment. Fulltime freedom means making the decision to live in accordance with your values. Not the values of somebody else. It means shaking aside everyone else’s ideas about how you should live your life. Everyone else’s but yours.

Are you sick and tired of working to accomplish other people’s dreams?

If you answered yes, fulltime freedom is round the corner for you too.

You could be…

  • An offline business trying to get more leads online
  • An aspiring entrepreneur just starting out
  • An OG who hasn’t quite found a route to long-term success
  • Someone who knows a regular 9-5 just isn’t going to cut it

Whoever you are. With the right path to push, you can make it to fulltime freedom. So, if that sounds like you then you’ve come to the right place. These 12-steps are for the action takers.

Do you think differently?

More important still, do you have the tenacity and courage to pursue your dreams?

If so, let’s get started!

Phase 1: Planning

Phase one is all about planning.

After all, as the old adage goes, and in the words of my junior school math teacher, Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance.

Most entrepreneurs skip this step. But we aren’t most entrepreneurs.

So, here are my top four planning hacks to get you off to the best start possible.

Hack 1: “Start from The Start”

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Most entrepreneurs skip this step. But that’s a big mistake. The key to online business success is stepping back and focusing on you first. Because when you don’t focus on yourself, you’ll find yourself on a fast-track fulfilment service to burnout.

And, let me tell you, we don’t be wanting that.

I went for over a year without focusing on me and, sure as anything, I burned out fast. I want you to learn from my mistakes and avoid burnout before it’s even started.

Before doing anything else, ask yourself these three key questions.

  1. Do you have a daily routine that prioritizes you and your energy?

That means prioritizing the personal as well as the professional.

  1. When was the last time you went for 30 days with consistently healthy habits?

It’s easy to fall into bad habits that lead to inefficiency.

  1. Are you working from a calendar?

For optimum productivity, have a calendar on your PC or laptop – not your phone.

Calendars and schedules are key to success. Time and money are no excuse. Schedule your time and plan well. You’ll find out (just like I did) that you are more time and money rich than you thought. Most of us just don’t use our time and funds in the most productive and efficient way.

How to manage your calendar like a pro

Step 1: start by adding personal stuff for each day – that means mealtimes and recurring tasks.

Step 2: now you can add your work scheduling – that could be coaching, calls, trainings etc.

Step 3: add in your gold ticket tasks – those things that are high value or high priority

Step 4: last, add your secondary tasks – stuff that’s not imminently important

This works. Hands down. Planning your personal priorities first is the key to avoiding burnout and achieving the life you want and deserve. So go out there and plan!

Hack #2: The “Back to the Future” method

How would you feel I told you this?

You could have an extra day each week, save, time, energy, and money with my “Back to the Future” method. When was the last time you had a proper look at your time and your bank account? If it’s been more than a month, that’s already too long.

Aim to print out your bank statement once a month. Ask yourself, what am I actually spending money on? And do I really need that? Bish, bash, bosh, you’re saving money already.

Next, make sure your workspace is organized. Since your workspace is online that means your taskbar. I organize all of the folders on by web taskbar so that everything I could ever need (that means every link, calendar, email, CRM, Facebook group or course) is right there.

With everything you need no more than two clicks away, you’ll save some serious time.

  • Is your desktop tidy? Avoid folder and file madness.

  • Get organized with tools – think tools like Calendly and time management software.

  • Organize your finances – think bank statements, budgets, expenses, taxes, revenue, and payroll.

Hack #3: The “Triple A” approach to getting unstuck fast

Ever heard of an avatar acceleration approach? It sounds high tech but believe me it’s simpler than you might think. The truth is you are your own best avatar. The obstacles you are facing mark the way towards your solution. Looking first at yourself, will help you provide value for future clients.

The best course of action is to start. Just start right away. You don’t need to become an expert first. Remember entrepreneurship is uncomfortable. By embracing the discomfort we can move through it faster. We just have to act. We just need to be consistent in our action.

So, you need to find your ideal avatar.

Remember that starts with you.

Ask yourself:

  • What did I go to school for?
  • What have I do professionally (and what do I like about it)?
  • What are the questions that family and friends ask me?
  • What are my hobbies and interests?
  • What makes me feel most alive?
  • What can I talk about for hours?
  • What could I teach every single day?
  • What life experiences have I overcome?
  • What and who can I help by speaking my truth?

Hack 4: “Enhanced Experience” offers that sell

You’ve found your ideal avatar. Now it’s time to pin down an offer that really sells. Offers that sell are offers that give value. The truth is you don’t need to complicate your offer. You don’t need to have a mile long stack of bouses. You don’t need to something flashy. All you need is value.

So, you want prospects to invest in your course – in your high value products?

First, you need an offer that will enhance their experience of consumption. That means asking yourself, how can I expedite their consumption of my product? That could mean making value-filled training courses to help prospects achieve exactly what you have. For me, that was ClickFunnels.

Take the very thing that you’re selling and enhance the experience of that function. Troubleshoot those bottlenecks. Help your people get better results, faster. That’s what makes a banging offer.

Phase 2 – Setup

Planning is complete. It’s time to get moving. It’s time to set up.

The number one question I receive from new entrepreneurs is this. Where should I run ads? If you’ve been asking yourself this very question, it’s time to strike it from your mind. Pronto. That’s not the direction we want to be thinking at this stage in our business journey.

Instead, think

One Platform – One Offer – One Message

There’s no point trying to run before you can walk. So don’t try to run ads when you’re still brand new and don’t have too many profiles on the go. Focus on one.

For me that was Facebook. For you, it might be LinkedIn. So, keep it simple with one platform, one offer, one message. Without further ado, let’s dive into our four setup hacks.

Hack # 5: The “Freedom Funnel” lead magnet strategy

The Freedom Funnel is all about finding better ways to attract, nurture, and convert your leads. PDFs, eBooks, and documents are dead. I repeat. PDFs, eBooks, and documents are dead. Believe me. I tried all these things, so you don’t have to.

The best lead magnet strategy is a free online course. This is your Freedom Funnel.

Free you say?

Yes, free. I often get asked how I decide between what I give for free and what I charge for.

As a general rule we should be teaching the what and the why for free then charging for the how.

Don’t charge your prospects to find out who you are and what you’re doing.

Do charge your prospects to learn how you’re doing what you’re doing with examples, coaching, accountability, and mentorship.

Your course should include… For example, my course includes…
A killer course name with key words that resonate with your dream avatar

How to Choose One and Get Started

To help you deploy your online course, here are my 7 ninja hacks.

1.     Give value, gain trust

Give value and you’ll gain trust. Give enough value to get people to know, like, and trust you. Your introduction video should cover who you are, why you created the training program, and incentivize viewers to complete the training. Let them know what to expect and what they’ll get out of it. Give them a goal and walk them through it step by step.

2.     Educate for action

Educate your prospects. This will give them the confidence to go out there and take action Get them learning the thing and doing the thing. So ask yourself what information your prospects need in order to take practical action. How can you expedite the customer journey?

3.     Generate conversation

Conversation will get people interested in working with you. So generate inbound conversations by asking prospects to message you after they have finished your course. It’s okay to offer some gentle encouragement with a free gift for finishing. This encourages engagement. It could be something as simple as “shoot me a DM with #template and I’ll send you over a free template”.

4.     Gather testimonials

Testimonials verify your value. Get testimonials from people who have completed or are going through your free course. I recommend asking the free course members to share their feedback with you on a Facebook group post. Then take screenshots and use these in your marketing campaigns.

5.     Fill up on followers

Ask your course members to subscribe to your social platforms with a quick and easy button link to encourage further engagement with your platform.

6.     Amp up affiliate sales

Use your course as a way to make more affiliate sales through the tools and resources that you recommend. Throughout the course material place calls to action asking your users to sign up for whatever you’re offering. This is the first step towards generating that all-important passive income.

7.     Generate leads

Last, but not least, user your course to generate sales to your own programs, courses, products, and services. Place calls to action asking your users to sign up for your own materials.

Hack # 6: The “Inbound Client” nurture system

Hands up who hates cold prospecting?

The truth is you don’t have to spend your days constantly doing this. Instead, follow my golden ratio. I always aim to do things that take 20% of the effort to generate 80% of the results.  And constantly messaging every single person definitely doesn’t fit in this ratio.

What if I told you your leads can come to you ready to buy what you have to offer?

It’s not as idealistic as it sounds. In fact, when your leads already like you and trust you, they’ll want to take it to the next level. The key is to help your members connect both with you and other members of your online community.

And here’s how.

  • Get your social group set up and encourage group members to interact with you, each other, and new onboards. For example, you might want to produce a unique welcome post for every new member to make them feel part of a meaningful community.
  • Let your members share why they’re in your group and what they do.
  • Give your members value. Don’t start selling to them from day one. Instead offer value via resources and free trainings at regular intervals.

You’ll soon find that high quality prospects show up, stay, and collaborate. This system allows you to create meaningful connections with your audience, help others connect and build valuable communities of their own, and build trust with your audience.

Plus, you’ll filter out time wasters for good.

Hack # 7: The “Content That Closes” Formula

Time for one of my all-time favorite hacks. Why is it my favorite? Because it means that I can spend more time doing what I really love.

Content is time consuming. Posting is time consuming. What we really want is content that closes without taking up all our energy in the making.

The truth is you don’t have to spend everyday figuring out what to post and you don’t have to struggle to get engagement to your content. All you have to do is batch create and organize a content schedule that leads for you.

Decide what type of content you want to create and plan it all on a Google sheet outlining everything from Monday through Sunday. Take one day each month to create all of your content. Then, hey presto, all you have to do is post your ready-made content according to your schedule.

Types of value-rich content include:

  • Engagement questions – questions that your ideal avatar wants to answer
  • Inspirational quotes
  • Short videos
  • Story posts – help people relate to you better
  • Personal stuff – give the business lingo a break from time to time

The key is consistency. Pre-planning your content monthly will help you get more engagement whilst doing less so that you can focus on higher priority tasks in your business.

Ninja-hack: Create a back- calendar of every post you’ve ever created and periodically repost old content for your new subscribers. When you refer back to your post history and like an old post it will bump it right back up to the top of your group feed.

Hack # 8: The “Automated DFY Lead Closer” process

Do less and achieve more. Once you’ve put the groundwork in, this is eminently possible. All thanks to automation. The truth is you don’t need to run ads to a webinar funnel. You don’t have to chase every lead around begging them to buy, and you certainly don’t have to waste your time with tire kickers who are just in it for the entertainment.

Embrace automation and mobilize a Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM for short). Turn your social network group into an inbound lead-generation system by asking for email addresses and contact information from all new sign-ups and let the software do the rest.

Your CRM will add all these contact details to an automated email marketing campaign and send out your free training course, recommendations, reminders, and educational resources. Don’t hit the hard sell right away. Work up to promoting your higher-value courses.

If you feel overwhelmed by manual Facebook prospecting this is the tool for you. It will help you do less and achieve more by automating your customer journey, leveraging time on business development, reaching more audience members, and getting your message to market.

Phase 3 – Execution

We’ve made it to the execution phase. When it comes to execution, we shouldn’t be asking who we can hire to do our jobs for us. Neither should we be trying to do everything on our own. Instead, it’s important to find a happy medium. Start by asking, who can I hire to do this with me?

Remember time equals money. It’s time we started prioritizing our valuable time.

Our final four hacks will help us do just that.

Hack # 9: The Ultimate Sales Machine

You don’t have to be an expert online to sell your offer. You just have to start taking action. Selling online is only hard if you make it hard. That’s why an organized sales process is the best thing you can do for your business.

At this point we want to organize our sales into four key selling stages.

  1. Cold – that means new friends and group members
  2. Warm – that’s the conversations, relationship building, and value adding
  3. Customer – this is all about success stages and progress
  4. Promoter – gain recognition and rewards from happy customers

Through these four stages you’ll build up your customer ecosystem. To save even more time, you might want to use a CRM system to automate your selling stages and track new group members. This helps to know where every single lead is in the sales process, track customer success, and avoid timewasters.

Hack # 10: Using Facebook live to sell without sales calls

Are you tired and burned out with Facebook messenger? Are people not responding, not buying?

Unfortunately, this is very common. But there is a way around it.

Instead of reaching out to individuals via messenger, try going live and reaching out to many. The truth is, you don’t have to cold outreach in messenger with every person you come across. You don’t have to waste time calling or zooming with people who will never buy.

Instead, simple invite people in and add value consistently. Connect with intention. Provide value by showing them the way. Then make offers that expedite the consumption experience. This is what will allow you to create better trainings, grow your business, and get people amazing results.

Hack # 11: Your first hire and business setup

Your business is growing and it’s time to make your first hire. Keep things simple and start with the most important asset of all. A bookkeeper. Hire a bookkeeper to help you with taxes, setup a formal business, open a business bank account and reap the many benefits that follow.

This is the stage when you’re turning your hobby into a real business. Delegating out tasks will help you to focus on growth and delivery. Tracking your finances will help you know where your business stands and do the right thing by your business.

Hack # 12: From dreams into reality

You’re now well on your way to turning those dreams into a reality and hitting six-figures fast and burnout free. In our final stage, it’s time to wave goodbye to “I’ll do it soon.” Remember discomfort now means more comfort later.

These 12 steps have helped me live the life I want to live, feel more joy and alignment in my life, meet amazing people, and make an impact on my future self, family, friends, and clients. These 12 steps can help you achieve full time freedom.

Full time freedom in 12 steps

Full-time freedom is just 12 steps away. I’ve reaped the rewards and now I want to help others feel that same joy for themselves. It’s time to turn your dreams into reality and live the life you want to live. Remember this. If you can make that first dollar you can make that first hundred. If you make your first hundred you can make your first thousand. If you make your first thousand you can make your first ten thousand and if you can do that, then six-figures is just a stone’s throw away.
